From Washington DC there are a few ways to get to Casa Paradiso / Canaan Valley.
The most direct is by heading west on US 50 for 154 miles
Turn right on HWY 93 heading west for 15 miles to HWY 32
Turn left on HWY 32 south, through Davis, for 10 miles
Turn left at entrance to Timberline Resort (2 miles)
Turn right at stop sign
Take first left onto Yoakum Run
Turn left into driveway for #31, Casa Paradiso!

This may not necessarily be the fastest route. Alternatively, you can do the following..

Take US 270 heading northwest for 32 miles
Continue on US 70 heading west for 110 miles to Cumberland MD
Exit onto HWY 220 heading southwest for 24 miles to Keyser WV
Continue on HWY 50 heading southwest for 18 miles to Mt. Storm WV
Turn left on HWY 42 heading south for 6 miles
Turn right on HWY 93 heading west for 15 miles to HWY 32
Turn left on HWY 32 south, through Davis, for 10 miles
Turn left at entrance to Timberline Resort (2 miles)
Turn right at stop sign
Take first left onto Yoakum Run
Turn left into driveway for #31, Casa Paradiso!

From Northern Virginia a more scenic alternative is to take Route 66 West
about 60 miles (e.g., 56 miles from Manassas) to I-81.
Follow I-81 S for 1 mile
Exit onto Rt.55 W to Moorefield, WV (49 miles)
Continue on Rt.55/220 to Petersburg (12 miles)
Continue on Rt.55/28 to Seneca Rocks (24 miles)
Turn right on Rt.33 W to Harman (13 miles)
Turn right on Rt.32 N to Canaan Valley (12 miles)
Turn right at entrance to Timberline Resort (2 miles)
Turn right at stop sign
Take first left onto Yoakum Run
Turn left into driveway for #31, Casa Paradiso!

Directions from the Northwest - Pittsburgh

Starting at downtown Pittsburgh PA, head down I 579 to US 79 heading south for 70 miles to Morgantown WV
Turn left on I 68 (US 48) heading northeast for 1.6 miles
Turn right on HWY 119 heading south for 19.6 miles
Turn left on HWY 50 heading east for 33.3 miles
Turn right on HWY 219 heading south for 14 miles to Thomas, WV
Bear left on HWY 32 heading southeast for 2.0 miles to Davis, WV
Continue on HWY 32 south, through Davis, for 10 miles
